FARROW DONATES $30,000 TO FOOD BANKS

Employees, clients and management at Russell A. Farrow Ltd. have donated $30,000 to a variety of food banks where the company does business in Ontario, Michigan, New York and Illinois.
This year's recipients include Essex Area Food Bank, Food Bank of Waterloo, Downtown Mission, Unemployed Help Centre, Daily Bread Food Bank in Toronto, Children's Aid Windsor, Food Bank of Western New York, Gleaners Community Food Bank in Detroit, Windsor Christian Fellowship, Food Bank of South Central Michigan and Greater Chicago Food Depository.
Donations were received from such clients as Kellogg, Campbell Soup and Nestlé.
"As a result, we have elected to make contributions to food banks - which we know are hard-pressed to keep up with the need," said Rick Farrow, company chairman and CEO.
Each of the food banks received $3,000.
Farrow, now celebrating its 100th anniversary, has 60 employees in 26 offices across North America.
