A Bulletin on Customs and International Trade from Russell A. Farrow Limited - Summer 1999.

Release Services Inc. (RSI) was established as a pilot project with Russell A. Farrow Limited, Livingston International and PBB Global Logistics combining forces to provide an avenue to expedite the release of goods in an efficient and cost effective manner. The project has been operating for the past five months at the port of Sarnia, Ontario.

In spite of PBB Global Logistics decision to leave the project, Russell A. Farrow Limited and Livingston International have agreed the benefits outweigh some of the challenges presented.
The ultimate goal of RSI is to eliminate, to the extent possible, the need for drivers to come in to the office. Ongoing talks with the front line staff and drivers together with customer feedback will help the company to meet this goal. With the success of the project at the Sarnia location, the partners have announced that RSI will expand to Lansdowne, Ontario, Niagara Falls, Ontario and Coutts, Alberta.
New Office Announcement
Relocation
The Port Huron office has moved and is now located within the Bluewater Bridge Customs Complex. The new location allows drivers immediate access to our personnel for expedited processing and being on site with U.S. Customs allows for more effective interaction with them.
The new address is:
Russell A. Farrow ( U.S.) Inc.
c/o Bluewater Bridge Plaza
2321 Pine Grove
Port Huron, MI
48060

The phone and fax numbers remain the same, as do the hours of operation.
A new office in Sweetgrass, Montana is scheduled to open for business on January 7, 2002. Richard (Dick) Barsness has been hired as the new branch manager. Dick, who graduated from the University of Utah, is a licensed customs broker with twenty-one years of experience and served as the Area Manager for Fritz Companies since 1994. Dick has been actively involved in sales and product development in the Alberta market. We look forward to his assistance in bringing our fifth USA operation online.
