Russell A. Farrow Limited Donates Much Needed Trucks to The United Way Russell A. Farrow Limited announced its support of and investment in the United Way's through a donation of $150,000 over two years toward the purchase of a refrigerated truck to support food security in the Windsor and Essex community. An additional truck has been donated, which will be used as a mobile food bank to deliver fresh food to families and seniors in neighborhoods where access to a food banks is difficult due to transportation, hours of service and limited availability of fresh food. Farrow kicked off its first annual Day of Caring volunteer initiative in partnership with the United Way. This year Russell A. Farrow Limited took part in the United Way sponsored Day of Caring. Our four regional centres participated: Ayr, Edmonton, Toronto and Windsor. The idea is to bring together business and community based organizations. |
