Canada, EU to provisionally apply CETA in September

In a joint statement issued July 8, 2017, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, have agreed to set the date of September 21, 2017 as the start date for the provisional application of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA).
