Outbreak of African Swine Fever in China and Europe

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is monitoring the outbreak of African swine fever in China and Europe. There have been no reported cases of African swine fever in Canada.

For information on how to prevent animal diseases from entering Canada, please refer to the statement from Canada's Chief Veterinary Officer at the following link on the CFIA's website.
