Farrow Donates $75,000 to United Way/Plentiful Harvest

Windsor, ON – Farrow today announced its continued support and investment of a
groundbreaking community project through United Way/Plentiful Harvest in an ongoing effort to assist those in need. Rick Farrow, CEO and Chairman, Farrow presented a cheque for $75,000 to United Way/Plentiful Harvest during the Harvest Ball on Friday September 20th, 2013 at the Fogolar Furlan.
This is the second installment of a promised $150,000 over 2 years to help strengthen food security in our community.
The United Way and its partners have been working together to increase the community’s access to nutritional and culturally appropriate food through the Food Security Network. “This project will increase access to food and benefit individuals, children and families who depend on food banks and food programs in Windsor-Essex. We’re extremely pleased and committed to supporting this critical need in our community,” stated Rick Farrow.
Farrow continues their tradition of giving back to the community with their most recent donation to the United Way/Plentiful Harvest which mobilizes the caring power of the local community to improve lives in measurable and lasting ways.
The United Way focuses on three priority areas: supporting basic needs and independence; positioning kids and families for success and creating thriving neighborhoods.
