Roadway Express Inc. (Note: In Canada also dba Reimer Express) 
Based in Akron, Ohio, Roadway Express is one of the leading LTL common carriers in the United States, with an extensive network of terminals across North America. In 1997, Roadway significantly expanded its Canadian capabilities through the friendly acquisition of Reimer Express Lines, Ltd. of Winnipeg, Manitoba. 
Reimer/Roadway provides an expedited service known as “Fast as Flite” that offers a tightly scheduled over-the-road service involving driver teams that enables guaranteed 3-day delivery from Toronto to Vancouver, a distance of approximately 2,800 road miles.
 

CargoLux Airlines International S.A. 
Cargolux Airlines International S.A. is a joint venture of Luxair, the Salen Shipping Group, Loftleidir Icelandic and a group of private-sector firms based in Luxembourg. Cargolux operates to 31 worldwide destinations and maintains 66 offices in 40 countries.
Cargolux is the leading freight-only airline in the world providing shippers (primarily international freight forwarders) with a combination of long range scheduled and charter air cargo services.
 

SwissAir (Div. SAir Group) 
Formed in 1931, Swissair is Switzerland’s national carrier and one of the leading airlines in the world. Swissair is a subsidiary of the privately-held SAir Group organization which also owns a number of  other companies involved in the logistics, information management, travel and hospitality industries.
Swissair maintains cargo hubs in Switzerland and Belgium providing services through a global network with more than 170 destinations. Through its cargo marketing subsidiary, Swisscargo, the company represents not only Swissair, but also other European airlines such as Crossair,  Balair/CTA, Sabena of Belgium, Sobelair and CityBird. 
 

American President Lines (Div. NOL Group) 
The recent merger between American President Lines (APL) and Singapore-based Neptune Orient Lines Ltd. (NOL) formed one of the world’s top five largest container shipper lines (full integration of the two companies is scheduled for March/98).
Operating under the APL name, the newly combined entity provides container transportation services for international shippers in the trans-Pacific, Asia-Europe, Mediterranean, Latin America, intra-Asia and Australia markets. It also offers supply chain management and container rail services within North America.
The APL/NOL Group’s fleet consists of  76 container vessels, 30 tankers and 8 dry-bulk carriers, with seven new containerships and five Aframax tankers scheduled for delivery in 1998.
 

Maersk Line (Div. A.P. Moller Group) 
Maersk Line has been involved in liner transportation since 1928 when the first regular cargo liner service linking the United States and the Far East was established. Today, Maersk Line is the world’s largest provider of containerized transport solutions with more than 250 offices in over 70 countries.
Maersk Line is part of the the A.P. Moller Group which is headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark. The A.P. Møller fleet comprises about 150 vessels with a total deadweight of about 7,000,000 tons and includes container vessels, tankers, bulk and special vessels, supply ships and drilling rigs.
 

Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL)
Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) is a global container transportation company providing customers with global, fully integrated, containerized transportation services. It has an extensive network of services linking North America, Europe, Asia and Australia / New Zealand.
OOCL is a subsidiary of Orient Overseas (International) Limited (OOIL), a public company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. OOCL owns and operates container vessels, container terminals, containers and container chassis. In addition, the company has operations performing other functions vital to the provision of an integrated, containerized transportation service, such as container service management, road haulage, agency, freight forwarding and cargo consolidation.
OOCL owns and charters approximately 34 container vessels deployed in 41 liner services carrying over one million TEUs globally per year. The delivery of seven new 5,000-TEU vessels and one 2,300-TEU ice-class vessel makes OOCL’s fleet one of the most modern in the world.
 

Viking Freight (Div. Caliber Systems Inc.)
Viking Freight, Inc., headquartered in San Jose, California, specializes in next- and second-day regional freight service throughout Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming and also provides direct steamship service to Alaska and Hawaii.
Viking Freight is an operating unit of Caliber System, Inc., based in Akron, Ohio, a leading provider of value-added transportation, logistics and related information services. Caliber’s other operating companies include RPS (see below), a business-to-business small-package carrier; Caliber Logistics, a contract logistics provider; Roberts Express, a critical-shipment carrier; and Caliber Technology, a supplier of enterprise-wide information solutions
 
RPS (Div. Caliber Systems Inc.)
Since its establishment in 1985, RPS has become the fastest growing small-package company in the history of the United States, delivering hundreds of thousands of packages a day to businesses throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, and 27 countries in Europe. 
RPS operates 359 facilities throughout the United States and another 12 in Canada through its subsidiary, RPS, Ltd. In Mexico and Europe, RPS has partnered with the best small-package carriers and delivery consortiums in each of the countries it serves.
RPS is a separately managed operating company of Caliber System, Inc., one of the largest transportation and logistics holding companies in the U.S. 
 

Airborne Express 
Headquartered in Seattle, WA, Airborne Express is the third largest air express carrier in the United States, delivering time-sensitive documents, letters, small packages and freight via same-day, next-day, next-afternoon, second-day and other service options.
Airborne is the only carrier in the United States with a privately owned airport (Wilmington, Ohio), complete with an aircraft maintenance operation and Foreign Trade Zone.  The company also maintains foreign hubs in Toronto, Brussels, London, Dubai, Singapore and Hong Kong to service its fleet of more than 100 owned/leased aircraft. 
 

Air France 
Founded in 1933, Air France (Compagnie Nationale Air France) is the national airline of France. Mergers with UTA and Air Inter have helped make Air France is the second ranking air cargo carrier in the world with a specialized fleet of almost 200 aircraft serving 165 airports around the globe.
Air France has strategic partnerships with both Continental and Delta airlines and co-operation agreements with numerous other carriers including Aeromexico, Alitalia,  Eurowings, Japan Airlines and Royal Air Maroc. 

BAX Global (Div The Pittsdon Co.)
Formerly known as Burlington Air Express, BAX Global is a $1.5 billion transportation and logistics management company with over 500 offices in 119 countries.
From its main hub in Toledo, Ohio, BAX Global provides overnight and second day freight delivery to every major North American business community and international air freight, ocean forwarding and customs brokerage worldwide through logistics centers located in London, Singapore, Australia and The Netherlands (new centers are also planned for Malaysia, India and France). 
 

ABF Frieght System, Inc. (Div. Arkansas Best Corporation)
Through seven decades of continuous operation, ABF has grown from a regional Arkansas trucking operation to become the fourth largest LTL motor carrier in the United States. Today, the company serves all 50 states in the continental United States and nine provinces from coast-to-coast in Canada through its network of over 350 terminals. 
ABF concentrates on long-haul transportation of general commodities freight, involving primarily LTL shipments, but also offers international services to more than 300 ports in 161 countries through cooperation with a number of intermodal partners.
 

Canadian National Railway (CNR)
Headquartered in Montréal, Quebec, Canadian National operates Canada’s largest railroad system and is one of the largest railroads in North America with approximately 17,000 route miles of track across Canada and almost 1,000 route miles of track in the United States. The CN network serves all five of Canada’s major ports: Halifax, Montréal, Prince Rupert, Thunder Bay, and Vancouver, and includes strategic connections into the United States (esp. the important Chicago rail gateway). 
CN’s primary focus is the movement of bulk commodities such as forest and industrial products, grain, coal, fertilizers, automobiles, as well as intermodal shipments. Almost 40% of the company's revenues are derived from transborder (U.S.) traffic and 25% from offshore traffic bound primarily to Asia and the Pacific Rim countries.

SkyPak™ is an international small package and express document service provided by GD Express Worldwide, a division of KPN (the Dutch postal and telecommunications company) through the global network of TNT Worldwide Express (also a KPN operating subsidiary). 
SkyPak™ is available through postal outlets in France (Chronopost), Canada (Canada Post), Sweden (Sweden Post), the Netherlands (EMS) and Denmark (Jetpost).
