| Consistently voted one of the best passenger airlines
by independent travel surveys, Singapore Airlines is a leading air carrier
in the Malaysian and southeast Asian markets. SIA also provides global
cargo services in connection with its strategic partners Delta Air Lines
and SwissAir. |
| SIA recently introduced a new service
called “Timerider” which is an airport-to-airport express cargo service,
targeted mostly at heavier freight, which is designed to meet the needs
of cargo customers who require greater assurance of freight uplift and
handling speed. With this service, SIA will offer a 50% refund of
freight charges, subject to certain conditions, if a shipment is not uplifted
as booked after it has been confirmed and accepted for a particular flight. |

| An operating unit of Royal PTT Nederland NV (KPN), TNT

bulk tankers and dedicated container terminals. The company's fleet
consists of over 40 container vessels and 20 bulk liners with new post-panamax
size 4,000 TEU-class and 5,000 TEU-class container vessels to be added
in the near future. |
Recently, the company has diversified into mutimodal logistics
