In the provinces of B.C. and Alberta, we offer importers and exporters economical, door-to-door shipping services to/from the U.S.A. combining prompt, accurate customs clearance with reliable ground or air transportation for packages weighing up to 70 lbs.

Here’s all you need to know to take advantage of our cost-effective small parcel shipping alternative.

Instructions for using APS to/from Canada

Imports:

A copy of Shipper's invoice and Exporter's certificate of origin (if applicable) should be affixed to the outside of the package and shipped PREPAID to:

Alberta:   Alberta Parcel Service c/o Your Company Name   100 Railroad St. Sweetgrass, MT 59484

British Columbia:   Your Company Name  c/o Farrow Express Parcel Service  200 - 14th Street  Blaine, WA 98230

Inbound shipments are cleared daily through Customs as soon as they arrive and are delivered next day to you or your customer via courier. Our rates are generally the lowest available for parcel shipments — faster than mail and much less expensive than internatinal couriers.

Exports:

A copy of the Shipper's invoice together with an Exporter's certificate of origin (if applicable) should be affixed to the outside of the package and shipped prepaid via courier to:

British Columbia:  Farrow Express Parcel Service  17637 - 1st Avenue  Surrey, B.C. V4P 2K1

We will clear your export shipment through customs and forward immediately to destination.

The Fine Print (Restrictions & Limitations)

Weight and Size Limitations

Maximum weight per package: 70 lbs. or 31.5 kg.   Maximum length 108 inches or 270 cm per carton.  Maximum size per package: 130 inches or 330 cm in length and girth combined.

Exceptions to Carriage

We will not accept the following merchandise:

C.O.D. shipments; articles prohibited entry into Canada; shipments exceeding $10,000; jewellery (other than costume); precious metals; works of art; articles of a perishable or fragile nature; personal effects; and dangerous or hazardous goods.
