Trees planted at Windsor Riverfront
in memory of long term Farrow employees
Plaques honour Sherry Lamont, Roy Meloche, and Jean Wellington
Three trees have been planted at Great Western Park in Windsor, ON in memory of long time and dedicated employees: Sherry Lamont, Jean Wellington and Roy Meloche. In concert with the families of Sherry, Roy and Jean, the trees were planted as part of the City of Windsor’s greening of what are now downtown riverfront parks. The land was previously an industrial rail yard. As can been seen in the photos, the trees feature a memorial plaque, and are situated on the waterfront with a view of the Detroit, MI skyline, from across the Detroit river.
